GearboxOS AutoPilot SMS — Opt-In Workflow
How shop owners consent to receive daily intelligence briefings.
Step 01
Shop Owner Onboarding
During GearboxOS setup, the shop owner enters their name, shop name, email address, and mobile phone number in the onboarding form.
This information is required to create the shop account and enable AutoPilot intelligence delivery.
Step 02
Opt-In Confirmation
A checkbox with this exact language must be checked before proceeding:
"I agree to receive daily SMS operational briefings from GearboxOS AutoPilot. Message frequency: 1 per business day. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."
The owner cannot complete onboarding without explicitly checking this box.
Step 03
Confirmation SMS
Immediately after onboarding, the owner receives the following welcome message:
"Welcome to GearboxOS AutoPilot. You will receive your first morning brief tomorrow at 6:45 AM. Reply STOP anytime to unsubscribe."
This confirms successful opt-in and sets clear expectations for message timing and frequency.
Step 04
Daily Brief
Each morning at 6:45 AM the owner receives their shop intelligence brief. This automated briefing includes:
- Key performance metrics from the Six Intelligence Buckets
- Operational alerts and flagged issues
- Actionable recommendations from AutoPilot
